1 I've got to admit to there being little or no spam on Hotmail so I guess that means that the settings work pretty well. The only thing I've noticed is that when you sing up for something on the internet that require an email verification this email never works. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on December 1, 2010, 2:44 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
2 I had a Hotmail e-mail address a long time ago - it served me well at first, but it soon devolved to nonstop spam. I got tired of the spam, so I switched to Yahoo. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 22, 2010, 2:12 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
3 Hotmail didn't suck from the start. Way back in the day it was the only webmail available to the public. So it couldn't have sucked, it was the best there was. But yeah once better alternatives emerged it did suck by comparison. -- Submitted By: (doctor_awesome) on January 25, 2010, 8:17 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote

5 If it weren't for Hotmail, how would Government officals in Africa be able to contact people via email when they needed to transfer large amounts of cash or find distance relatives of someone who was tragicly killed? Also what would these unheard of lottery officals use to contact winners who need to send them information to claim their prize? Thanks Hotmail for making it easier for my inbox to be that much more full with spam. -- Submitted By: (meQal) on June 5, 2009, 4:48 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
