He boned when he did Saturday Night Fever. 70s disco movies are an automatic bone. An arrogant guido with a white Italian trash family (take it from someone who is one - those people were offensive) and assholes for friends is not a likable character. I realize that will ruffle a few feathers, especially for those still convinced that "SNF" was "The Godfather" with disco in it, but those people need to take their meds. -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on July 16, 2012, 3:22 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Don't care about actors' sexuality but the man-kiss on the airplane stairs is either something he just does normally as part of his personal/family culture/whatever OR he was kissing a male lover. If the former, why was it such a "rare" moment? He ought to be doing this everyday like shaking hands for the rest of us. If the latter is true, it's stupid to maintain the lie in these times. Be who you are, man! Congrats on the coming baby with your wife though. Your sex life does NOT affect national security, so it should not occupy such ongoing attention. Things that "just don't add up" tend to hold the public's attention in a very annoying way. When the subject individual advocates a certain life principle (Scientology), he does leave himself open to rebuke. -- Submitted By: (baldrick) on May 20, 2010, 8:14 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote

Stephanie: WILD HOGS is a Travolta movie. It has nothing to do with Kotter and the Sweat Hogs. Thank for correcting my mis-spelling on Barbarino though..i'm sure no one could have figured out what character i was referring to without it. Thank again. I'm sure your a blast at parties. -- Submitted By: (Linco) on July 10, 2009, 1:14 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
OK, Linco. It was Vinnie BARBARINO and the SWEAT HOGS that were part of "Welcome Back, Kotter." -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on July 9, 2009, 11:37 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Gotta be Battlefield earth. Terrible! But they guy was Vinny Babarinom and Danny Zuko...gotta give him props for that. Wild Hogs was pretty bonerific though as well. -- Submitted By: (Linco) on July 8, 2009, 2:16 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
As horrible as the autism thing is, I have to go with Battlefield Earth, simply because it happened first. It's not like he was just fine until the thing with his son. He Boned the Fish long, long before then. -- Submitted By: (Hanglyman) on July 1, 2009, 2:43 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I thkn people are saying that John ignored what was really wrong with his sun due to his religious beliefs which led to his death. That's just tragic, and fair to point out. The actual death of the son isnt the reasons. IMHO -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on June 7, 2009, 4:57 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
It's a little cruel to make John bone the fish because of his son. I say show some respect. John is the rare exception of a former television star being able to avoid becoming typecast to a certain role. Vinny Barbarino was all the rage in the 70's but no one ever calls John Vinny Barbarino anymore. That's because John hasn't been afraid to take on a wide variety of roles that come his way. Of course he'll have misses like "Perfect" and "Battleship Earth", but take a look at the successes he's had such as "Saturday Night Fever" "Stayin' Alive" and "Urban Cowboy". -- Submitted By: (JoeBagODonuts) on June 6, 2009, 5:31 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Besides killing his own career in the '80s, I detest Travolta for squandering the career comeback that Tarantino bestowed upon him. Travolta flushed his career down the toilet a second time by once again picking incredibly lame projects. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on May 26, 2009, 8:43 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
