Pizza Hut boned when they stopped the distribution of kids pizza packs. I remember the Land Before Time puppets, Back to the Future solar shades, Nickelodeon magazine, Eureekas Castle puppets, Ninja Turtles cassette tapes, Rocketeer plastic cups, Pirates of the Dark Water plastic cup, Disney's Beauty and the Beast plastic cups, Darkwing Duck set and the Garfield toys. Also, the pizza used to taste better even in the 2000s. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:06 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
you'll still find stand-alone Pizza Huts nowadays, but when they decided to include Pizza Hut, Taco Bell & KFC all in one FF eatery, that somehow cheapened their franchise for me.. i can't picture myself getting pizza at the same place they make tacos and chicken -- Submitted By: (stryker73) on April 10, 2014, 9:20 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Well, typical 'Murican food. -- Submitted By: (Infyrin) on March 14, 2014, 4:24 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Big-box "pizza" that no actual Italian would recognize. Barf. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 12, 2011, 1:48 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Greasa Hut is the worst pizza ever spawned. Come on people, its just grease, on top of grease, on top of grease, on top of burnt crust. My dad is an italian chef and he said that they make the pizza all wrong. -- Submitted By: (Mr.Zimpy) on January 2, 2011, 6:48 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Where I live the pizzas are great. But they are really expensive now. We only go there once a month. Example ... one medium Supreme and garlic cheese bread is $25. -- Submitted By: (JustLooking) on October 9, 2010, 5:40 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Our Pizza Hut is sad also. The one in the town where my grandparents live looks identical to the way I remember it in the 80s, complete with a Pac Man game. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on June 26, 2010, 5:58 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Whoops. I misread MCS's question. The last Pizza Hut I went into had none of the 80s decor. Just a bunch of tables :-( It was sad. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on May 3, 2010, 2:39 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
MCS, the Pizza Huts I went to as a kid had 80s decor because it *was* the 80s :-) I remember such quaint items like Pac Man arcade games and jukeboxes playing whatever the latest 80s hits were at the time. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on May 3, 2010, 2:37 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
MCS I remember that about the best thing in the world as a kid in the 80s was going to Pizza Hut after Little League or various other kid activities. And I could have been bribed into absolutely anything with a trip to Pizza Hut afterward. It seems to have lost that mystique for kids... oh well, I had my fun. -- Submitted By: (doctor_awesome) on April 27, 2010, 7:06 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Glad to see I'm not the only one. Did the restaurant you went into look like it had decor from the 80s as well? -- Submitted By: (MCS) on April 17, 2010, 6:42 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
MCS, I remember!!! My family used to go to Pizza Hut all the time back then just for fun! And they always had killer buffets too! Now it's a joke. The last time I was in a Pizza Hut the place was just about dead. No buffet, no nothing. I only went for nostagia purposes but as usual, sometimes it's best just to fondly remember the past. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 14, 2010, 10:43 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
With Domino's recent messing with their recipe, my girlfriend and I will probably give Pizza Hut a try. -- Submitted By: (Mythigator) on April 9, 2010, 7:50 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
In my town the only places to get pizza are Pizza Hut and Dominoes, so I have to go with Pizza Hut. I do think it tastes so much better than Dominoes. It still doesn't beat a local Mom and Pop place though. By the way, does anyone else remember when Pizza Hut was such a popular place in the 80s? Everyone had a birthday party there it seemed like. Do kids still do that? -- Submitted By: (MCS) on April 6, 2010, 10:06 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Decent, the best thing is the Stuffed Crust pizza, but between Dominoes, Little Caesars, Papa John's, and Pizza Hut, they are number 4 -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on December 7, 2009, 7:16 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Pizza Hut is franchisee-controlled to a greater extent than the other big pizza chains. I've been to Pizza Huts that rival any locally-owned pizzeria, and I've been to Pizza Huts that serve up cardboard with ketchup and cheese on it. -- Submitted By: (doctor_awesome) on November 13, 2009, 11:37 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Never boned. Still the best of the major delivery chains. -- Submitted By: (LoyalPigeon) on May 11, 2009, 8:47 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
