Music Groups - Alice Cooper
Alice Cooper (born Vincent Damon Furnier) is an American rock singer, songwriter and musician whose career spans more than four decades. With a stage show that features guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, boa constrictors and baby dolls, Cooper has drawn equally from horror movies, vaudeville, heavy metal and garage rock to create a theatrical brand of rock music that would come to be known as shock rock.

Probably when most of his hits became soft rock ballads: Only Women Bleed, You and Me, I Never Cry, How You Gonna See Me Now, and so on -- Submitted By: (John63btf) on February 6, 2013, 4:51 pm - (0 votes)

Did Alice Cooper bone? Yeah probably, but before Rob Zombie or Marilyn Manson. We had Alice! He did it first he did it best. I do remember he has a fondness for golf. I always found that to be more weird then his stage presence. -- Submitted By: (Jp) on April 28, 2012, 6:47 pm - (2 votes)

I believe that Alice Cooper was the first of the shock rock era, made me think white folks was crazy when I was a kid.
I think that artist that gain their fame from an image should really retire with that image in tact, now old Alice just looks like a clown like so many others who just won't quit and enjoy their money and memories. Get out from in front of the camera Alice! -- Submitted By: (fletch000) on February 7, 2010, 11:12 am - (0 votes)
