1980s - Random Topics
The 80s was (at least the early and mid 80s) just the continuation of the sex, drugs, and rock and roll party til you drop decadence of the 70s with the resurgence of conservative values by the Regan revolution after all you never knew the nukes were going to start flying. But in spite of the imperfections it was a great time to be alive nice cars, sexy ladies (in spite of the tendency to go overboard with the makeup and hairspray) and it was still okay to look, it was still okay to be a straight manly man who was conservative and liked guns,the music was good and it was good to be alive back then. -- Submitted By: (JimPickens) on February 11, 2013, 1:27 am

The 70s were hit or miss to me hit hot women particularly in the late 70s and it was still okay to look, political correctness hadn't quite set in it was still okay to be a man, you still had cool cars, and in spite of disco you still had some good rock. The miss affirmative action if you were a white man you were hosed, feminism if you were a man in general you were hosed, liberalism you thought it was bad in the 90s the 70s made the 90s look like the 50s, the whole sex drugs and rock and roll culture might have embraced it to a degree if I were in my 20s or 30s back then but as child very confusing. -- Submitted By: (JimPickens) on March 23, 2012, 12:33 am
