Where I lived it happened at 12:00 Noon. I was watching an Oldies Station, I was listening to the Beatles one minute, a series of Commercials (First the usual ones, Then suddenly all I hear is Spanish! From what I read nobody told the Radio Staff, including the DJs. They were told to go to a Commercial Break, then told to go home! -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on June 18, 2013, 9:02 pm
Hunchback of Notre Dame, The (Disney movie) - Movie Series
I liked the Easter Eggs in this movie. Near the beginning, when you see the crowd in the square you see Scar (From The Lion King) make a cameo, as well as Belle (from (Beauty and the beast). There are also Homages to The Three Stooges and The Wizard of Oz. -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on June 18, 2013, 7:51 pm

These buffoons caused the FCC to ban many of my favorite cartoons in the early 1970s. Only recently have I been able to see them again, thanks to a little something called a DVD. -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on June 18, 2013, 7:38 pm

It is now known why the world DIDN'T end on 12/21/2012. An archaeologist discovered that the Mayan Calender had a Typographical error, the World wil not end until December 21, 22012! -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on June 18, 2013, 7:36 pm

In Game 3 you can make some waterslides that no park in their right mind would ever build. I have one called the Saxophone. It's 400'high and shaped exactly like the instrument. It's fun to watch the riders fly out the mouth and into the pool! -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on May 21, 2013, 1:39 pm

I used to like drowning all the guests in a lake, then reopening the park (All the guests who drowned were immediately replaced with new peeps, and since they all paid admission you\'d make $500,000.00 real quick! -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on May 21, 2013, 1:37 pm

Weather Channel, The - TV Shows
You tune into the Weather Channel expecting to see what the forecast is in your area. Unfortunately there's a Hurricane 3,000 Miles offshore that's at least a week from making landfall ANYWHERE. So that's all you hear about. Your Local Weather? FUGGADABOUDIT! Also the number of commercials they show is BEYOND INSANITY! -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on May 31, 2012, 7:20 pm

Christmas - Random Topics
Just IGNORE the Commercialization and the "Politically Correct" Crowd and you can once again ENJOY this Holiday. Remember the five "Fs" of Christmas, Food, Friends, Familiy, Festivaties and FUN! As for the stations that play Christmas Music nonstop from Thanksgiving to Christmas, I kind of enjoy it! One other thing. NEVER attempt to "Make this year's Holiday bigger and better than last year's. You are just setting yourself up for a HUGE Fall. Take it from someone who had to learn this himself, THE HARD WAY! -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on February 8, 2012, 8:11 pm
Austin, Texas - Random Topics
Austin was the first city to organize a Police S.W.A.T. Team. The City did this after an incident in August of 1966 when a mentally derainged man, Charles Whitman, took a footlocker full of weapons to the top of the University of Texas Tower and opened fire on the people below, killing 15 people and wounding over 30 more. After this incident the Police decided they needed to form an elite squad to deal with special situations where the Police needed extra help. -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on February 8, 2012, 7:59 pm

HOT WHEELS, along with its Sister Series SKYHAWKS were my Favorate Cartoon Series when they both aired in 1969. I liked how the Media televised all the New Years Eve Celebrations around the World on December 31, 1999. They couldn't bring you the World's Biggest Disaster, so they brought us the next best thing, THE WORLD'S BIGGEST PARTY!!!
(I actually experienced a "Y2K" Related Incident, I got a Credit card Bill that was due in 1900! (The "19" part of it was Preprinted, I Crossed it out, replaced the "19" with a "20" inserted the Payment, and sent it on its way!) -- Submitted By: (Regulus) on March 5, 2010, 4:03 pm
