Diezman- You are correct- quality music never bones- Metallica stopped making good music in 1988. The slaw and vinegar have been pouring ever since. Ive always laughed at them whining about people stealing their music. I would be more than happy to re-purchase any of Metallica, or should I saw "Alternica"'s first 4 albums, they couldnt pay me to take the rest. MCS- really? Hippies were fighting to avoid responsibility and get high off of mind altering substances. To paint them as some vanguard of a crusade against intolerance defames people like MLK and Ghandhi that actually had to "fight" something. I think you can actually sum up hippies perfectly with the South Park Episode "Die Hippie Die" from season 8 of that show. The Snow we had in Pennsylvania in October, 2009 and the incredibly cool summers and brutally cold winters we have been having with the heating bills to go along with them have started me believing in this global cooling. Literally- 20 thousand homes in central PA were without power as 7 inches of snow tore green trees down upon the power lines with the weight of their leaves with snow on them- IN OCTOBER. ok here is the short version as I know it- John K and Nickelodeon basically could NOT agree on $$$ numbers so he was forcibly split from his idea (R&S) after the first run of episodes were made- then Bob Camp took over the show- he was the "other" less taleneted person that made the shows. You will notice that once John K is not in the credits the show sucks. Now Billy West was the voice of Stimpy, and John K got this guy the job, and as he was kicked out, they (Nickelodeon) paid Billy more money to do both Ren and Stimpy's voice (John K did Ren), I know this little part of it because on a best of Howard Stern this summer they had the John K meets Billy WEst interview on "Fight Week" and man that was uncomfortable to listen to. Billy is super taleneted, but also a real grade A douche- he should have left with John K, but he gave his loyalty to the soulless corporation as opposed to the guy that got hiim into the industry- Bob Camp is just a no talent hack. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on November 12, 2009, 3:30 am

It's sad that John K isnt the prominent figure he was in the independent animation scene that he was in the early 90's with "Ren and Stimpy", when Nickelodeon split the creator from his great creation it seems that R&S went to hell in a handbasket and John K's creations never had a big splash again- "Ripping Friends" and "the Goddamn George Liquor Show"- while funny, never caught on to continue to give this genius the exposure he deserves- an "F" that traitor Billy West while I'm at it!! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on November 11, 2009, 10:12 am

Deniro is the reason as a fan you follow writers and directors- NOT actors. "good" Deniro films just happen to be- Michael Mann/ Martin Scorsese/ Francis Ford Coppola Films for the most part. Now he has this built in "reputation" but remembering that actors are just slightly more intelligent than your average couch, they are as good or bad as the people that make movies. Ive been aware of Deniro's Shark Jump into any lousy film that give him a paycheck for a loooong time. Most of the current (younger) idiots that "like" the "concept" of Robert Deniro think he was cool becuase he co-starred with 50 Cent in "righteous Kill" and is in the "Ultra Funny" - "Meet the Fokkers"- wow that Gag's SOOO Fuunnnnny after the 1000th time!
