Mummy - Movie Series
Brendan Frasier falls into that Jason Statham category of actors- what good film has he ever done? How does this actor still get work? Who is a Brendan Frasier or, a "Mummy" fan? Then the conversation comes to how films like the "Mummy" ever get made, and how stupid is the American public to do so much business that there are multiple sequels of even less and less "quality" than the first woefully poor film. Well like PT Barnum said- "There is a sucker born every minute" when I see films like the "Mummy", movies I think "There is a fish boned every minute some sucker watches these films".... -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 29, 2009, 7:16 am

Jack Ryan films - Movie Series
From Alec Baldwin to Harrison Ford to Ben Affleck? This series of films was hurt by not having a CONSISTENT and GOOD Jack Ryan. Personally I liked Alec from "Hunt for Red October" but Harrison Ford was good as well, it was the inconsistency that hurt the franchise, and unlike James Bond- this change of stars didnt seem to work. And whenever you have Ben Affleck involved- order up some extra vinegar to add with your Fish & Chips.....it's BTF time. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 28, 2009, 8:39 am

Lion King - Movie Series
I always thought the Fist of the North Star people proudly admitted they ripped off Mad Max? Also- a big thumbs down to Disney for the copyright stuff, they loved the Public Domain when it worked for them, just not when they have to share! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 28, 2009, 4:59 am

Keith Olbermann - Celebrities
I cannot stand it when this guy infects sports shows with the political talk. You are Liberal- great, keep it on MSNBC. That god they god rid of him and Dan Patrick off of ESPN, it was just painful to even try to listen to this political/sports show to the point, I just stopped listening. Serve up some Cold Trout to Keith Olbermann to go with his selection of Bones! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 27, 2009, 6:59 am

Gemstar and TV Guide all deserve a kick in their collective behinds for this move. Let's take one of the most beloved websites on the internet and destroy it... while at the same time paying millions of dollars for it. Someone should mail them a nice Fish Platter with a side of Bones from Red Lobster! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 27, 2009, 5:40 am

Howard Stern - Celebrities
Joe- I'm in complete disagreement with you. I listened to Howard for most of high school and college, then after college I moved to an area that didnt get a station that carried Howard from 1999 on. However- THANKS to him going to Sirius, I was able to get him in an area that his little to no radio stations, and the ones that do are HORRIFIC. Secondly, I listen every day, and as someone that has been a fan and listener/viewer of Howard Stern since about 1991- I have no idea how you can say that regular radio is much better than Howard, and that it's the same old stuff?!!? The show is pure comedy GOLD and much much better than it was in many many years- and perhaps it is better now than it ever was!! Also the specials and retrospective theme weeks and special shows (Riley Martin, Miserable Men, Bubba the Love Sponge etc.) are just icing on the cake. And finally, for paying for radio- I bought the lifetime subscription for Sirius this year after paying the yearly fee and I will say without a doubt- this is the best money ever spent on entertainment in my life- hands down. Between listening at home, and in the car, I listen probably about 30-35 hours a week with no commericals on the music, and very few on the "talk channels" this includes Howard. Finally- I've gotten about 5 people get Satellite radio and they all say that it was one of the coolest gadgets ever, and they could no longer ever listen to "old school AM/FM" again. I'm respectfully taking your Fish Platter off the table on this one issue!!! Now I do think Howard Boned the fish when he wouldnt reveal his income to run for Governor of NY- that was a small hush puppy to a largely no Fish Boning Career. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 27, 2009, 5:08 am

Star Trek - Movie Series
Multiple Bonings and Re-Bones here First Film- AWFUL, Khan and Search for Spock brought it back- the 4th film- 80's time travel and eco message = AWFUL FISH BONING. Fifth Film- Shatner cant direct at all= BONING TO A NEW DEGREE. 6th Film, Re-Boned to the good. Generations, BONED AGAIN!! First Contact, De-Boned, then Insurection and Nemesis tossed the Bone to the Dogs again!!! Will JJ Abrams with the new 11th film unbone that which has boned 5 times in 10 prior films? -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 25, 2009, 8:41 pm

Disney - Random Topics
Sadly, I watched the new release of "Pinnochio" the other day, and it blew away every Disney Film made during my Entire Lifetime..."Lion King", "Aladdin", "Little Mermaid" are nothing compared to this, and I wont even let even lesser films like "Mulan" or "Hercules" or the fish scraps that came after that even exist in the Shadow of the "Old School" still amazing to this day Disney Films. Man what an amazing fall for the great halls of American Animation. Disney you boned the fish... I'm just not sure when! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 25, 2009, 8:05 pm

Van Halen - Music Groups
Yes the 1998 Gary Cherone dparture is just astoundingly bad, the worst thing is on the infamous Van Halen 3 album- Eddie actually "sings" on this album- wow. It's amazing how this went from being America's party band to something that "used to be cool". I know they had a huge successful tour in 2008, but think of all the wasted years since 1991's "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge"- which in my mind is when they stopped being really an awesome band, or wait- Boned the Fish!! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 25, 2009, 7:49 pm

Ghostbusters - Movie Series
I concur- the original Ghostbusters was lightning in a bottle, sort of like the first Highlander film- it had a uncanny mix of action, comedy, great performances, cool lines, 80's flair and special effects, and iconic moments. It is almost impossible to recreate this kind of magic, and the sequel fell way shot. Boned the Fish hard with the sequel. And what's up with Sigourney Weaver being pushed back into sequels needlessly- this and the Alien 3 & 4 come to mind. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 25, 2009, 7:33 pm

Star Trek: Enterprise - TV Shows
I look at this show as where Star Trek as a franchise really went to an all time low. Ret-conning, silly plots, shoe-horning in stuff and bad writing and acting made for some of the worst Trek to ever grace the small screen. I hope the enw Movie this summer can bring it back, but it needs to stay off TV for a loooooong time to get the Fish Boning Stench of Enterprise off the franchise!! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 24, 2009, 12:32 pm

Ren and Stimpy - TV Shows
Once Nickelodeon Screwed over John K. This show was just...awful. Nick thought they could just run the characters without him, but it was woeful without the brains behind Stimpson J. Cat and Ren Hoek- the First dozen or so episodes are still true classics. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 23, 2009, 2:54 pm

Stan Lee - Celebrities
I used to think Stan Lee was awesome, until I realized that he was riding off real greats like Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko with the classic creations from Marvel. Ironically, Stan "The Man" Lee has had such great ideas as "Ravage 2099" and the Pam Anderson inspired "Stripperella" comics ever since. Wow Stan, without the great Kirby and Ditko to ride on their coat-tails, it's pretty hard to steal, I mean "create" any new ideas... what a hack. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 23, 2009, 6:32 am

Sci Fi Network - Random Topics
Oh where to start on this Fish Bone Filet? Changing the name to "SyFy", which is Polish slang for Syphilis? Showing "Wrasslin" which has nothing to do with Sci Fi? Bonnie Hammer calling the fans "Nerds living in their parent's basement?" Reality shows like "Ghost Hunters" and "Who want to be a Superhero?" The silly thing is how easy it would be to make a great SCI FI Channel, which the "SyFy" Channel doesnt seem capable of doing!!!! Star Trek's from the 60's Outer Limits twilight zones old BSG, new BSG the prisoner roundtable discussions of sci fi books and movies feature movie of the week with specials and interviews - take a pick of any cool SCI FI movie from the last 90 years- from Metropolis to Jurassic park Anime Sliders even take popular websites and make them into shows (AICN, CHUD, BTF!!) to move that content to television for cross support an "AT THE MOVIES" with sci fi- review new and old sci fi films etc. etc. And we get wrasslin and ghost hunters and reality shows now- I hate you Bonnie Hammer!! Otherworld - TV Shows
Man, talk about OBSCURE, I had to dig to find this show, and I almost thought I had imagined it- what a really off beat 80's sci fi network show about a family that is sent to a bizarre parallel universe. I'd love to watch it again sometime. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 23, 2009, 6:07 am
