I really liked Rick, actually, and I didn't like the whole way that was handled. It had a bad message attached to it. Not that Rick was a totally good person, but he wasn't a stereotype and his character had layers. That being said, I stopped watching after season 7 was over. The plots are just rehashes of old plots from before season 8 and none of the original, more compelling characters are there except Spinner, who got turned into a total joke.
