Instagram - Websites
I'll be honest, I view this site as a weird mix between Twitter, Flickr, and (to a lesser extent) Facebook. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on June 14, 2013, 11:19 pm

Facebook - Websites
Well, Facebook has now incorporated hashtags on their sites (http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/06/facebook-introduces-hashtags/). That's right, Facebook is copying Twitter. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on June 14, 2013, 11:18 pm

myspace.com - Websites
I just heard that Myspace relaunched itself as a social music site, and as a result, deleted all of their old users' profiles and blogs. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on June 14, 2013, 6:23 pm

Nicki Minaj - Music Groups
@kingbk: I think she looks more like a Bratz doll. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on June 7, 2013, 12:04 am

Tumblr - Websites
Well, Yahoo has now officially bought Tumblr. The things that concern me most about this is that a) Yahoo has a tendency to screw up sites they buy, and b) The average Yahoo commenter and the average Tumblr user are on the exact polar opposite ends of the political spectrum. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on May 20, 2013, 10:06 pm

Yahoo! - Websites
I'm now hearing rumors that Yahoo is planning to buy Tumblr for $1 billion. All I can say is, if they do buy it, this isn't going to go over well with Tumblr users. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on May 19, 2013, 3:49 pm

Black Friday - Random Topics
Black Firday, a day where people trample others for sales exactly one day after being thankful for what they already have. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on May 18, 2013, 9:16 pm

Tumblr - Websites
Tumblr is an interesting site, although the "social justice" blogs are pretty annoying. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on May 18, 2013, 9:07 pm

Youtube - Websites
Youtube has now launched a "paid subscription" plan, where, for certain channels (listed here: http://www.youtube.com/channels/paid_channels), you have to pay a monthly fee to view the content. I have a feeling that all those channels that require you to pay to subscribe will see their subscriber count drop. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on May 10, 2013, 9:52 pm

Disney - Random Topics
To be fair about the princess thing, when The Princess and the Frog came out, it had been quite a while since Disney released a princess movie to theaters. Additionally, it should be worth mentioning that, in the Disney animated canon (i.e. theatrically released animated Disney movies, not counting Pixar), Disney hasn't released a critically panned animated movie since John Lasseter became the CCO of the Disney Animation Studios in 2006. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on May 2, 2013, 8:43 pm

R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on May 2, 2013, 8:31 pm

Two and a Half Men - TV Shows
Angus T. Jones, who plays the kid/young adult, has announced that he is leaving the show, at least as a regular. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on April 27, 2013, 4:50 pm

SpongeBob SquarePants - TV Shows
The "After the movie" reason mentions about how "Derek Drymon was forced to keep it going," but I think Paul Tibbitt should get just as much blame (if not more), since he became the showrunner after the the movie, and, if I'm not mistaken, became executive producer in 2007. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on April 26, 2013, 1:08 am

Amanda Bynes - Celebrities
Reading about all of the crazy things that Amanda has done recently makes me sad. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on April 19, 2013, 8:02 pm

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo - TV Shows
@Jp: You're not. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on April 2, 2013, 12:51 am

Chris Brown - Celebrities
I really find it disturbing how there are some people who say that Rihanna "deserved to be beaten by Chris Brown." -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on March 17, 2013, 11:31 pm

Aladdin - Movie Series
I can say that the Aladdin sequels are definitely some of the better straight-to-video Disney sequels. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on March 8, 2013, 6:01 pm

SimCity - Random Topics
The recent SimCity game that came out a few days ago seems to be a huge boning moment for both the SimCity series and especially EA. For those unfamiliar with what's happening, the 2013 game requires an online connection to play. The problem? The game's server, which includes DRM, isn't working, so many people can't play it. Here's one of the many articles talking about it (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/03/09/arts/video-games/simcity-from-electronic-arts-plagued-by-server-issues.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0). It's gotten so bad that EA has suspended marketing for the game. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on March 8, 2013, 6:00 pm

Texting - Random Topics
I'm not bothered by texting in general, but I really hate it when people text while driving, riding a bike, or doing something similar. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on February 18, 2013, 1:11 am

Atheism - Random Topics
Like Soggy9000, I'm, more or less, an atheist, but I still don't like the atheists that bash anyone who is religious. While I often make fun of religious extremists, and hate politicians who use their religious beliefs as a political platform, I also hate people who throw a fit just because someone mentions "God" in public. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on February 16, 2013, 5:12 pm
