Mentalist, The - TV Shows
Love how the "Red John" subplot ended with a Bang!...Bang!...Bang! This is brave story development. Thanks to the writers for not dragging out Jane's need for vegence into any more seasons. Now, all Jane must do is hypnotize the jury at his criminal trial...and he'll be back to crime fighting (more like solving). -- Submitted By: (Understated) on May 20, 2011, 10:57 pm

Sarah Palin's Alaska - TV Shows
I liked Sara better when she was Peggy on King Of The Hill. -- Submitted By: (Understated) on January 9, 2011, 10:07 pm

Good Wife, The - TV Shows
The writers of this show treat the viewers of with respect by not turning the episodes into the typical formulaic pattern. Julianna M. gives a realistic portrayal of a high-intellect yet confused and vulnerable woman; she is confident in court but unsure outside of the courtroom. Her subtle face expressions speaks volumes--and therein lies her acting genius. The cast is very complimentary which keeps the storylines moving at a brisk pace without having to suspend all belief. -- Submitted By: (Understated) on January 4, 2011, 1:05 am

Dallas - TV Shows
I was too young to really follow this show but managed to sneak a few episodes. I always thought the JR Ewing character was the epitome of GREED and CRUELTY. I remember an episode when Sue Ellen had finally got a hold of her alcoholism and was sober for a significant period of time. She and JR got into an argument and JR did the most cruel thing--he threw a drink in her face. Shocked and intrigued at the same time, my mouth was wide open as credits rolled with liquor rolling down her face and over her lips. Being young, I wanted to see if she would open her mouth or lick a tiny drop of alcohol. Fast forward to the next week: SUE ELLEN IS LUSH AGAGIN--oh, the cruel power of JR Ewing! -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 31, 2010, 2:03 pm

Little House on the Prairie - TV Shows
The LHotP episodes I most remember are when Albert (in his angst--AGAIN!) feigns blindness so his "real Pa" wouldn't take from Pa Ingalls to use him as an extra hand on a farm; Albert's girlfriend is raped, impregnated and dies :-( -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 30, 2010, 12:29 am

Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns - TV Shows
UNWATCHABLE--and that's putting it mildly! -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 30, 2010, 12:13 am

Tyler Perry's House of Payne - TV Shows
I admire Tyler Perry for his business acumen; his comedy leaves a lot to be desired--like being funny. -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 30, 2010, 12:11 am

How I Met Your Mother - TV Shows
Although the concept of the "circle of close friends" is certainly not new, I find the writing for this show to be very clever. I must admit that Neil Patrick Harris as Barney the womanizer is a bit of a stretch. (no pun intended...OK, it is my intention) -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 30, 2010, 12:06 am

Bank of America - Random Topics
If you bank with this institution make sure you review your monthly statements very carefully for "mistakes" that are in favor of BoA. -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 29, 2010, 11:44 pm

Medium - TV Shows
The title of the show alone is unrealistic. Allison isn't a "MEDIUM"--I am quite sure she's a "LARGE"! -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 29, 2010, 11:38 pm

John Wayne - Celebrities
C'MON!!! This guy played the same character in every movie he starred. -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 10, 2010, 10:33 pm

Unit, The - TV Shows
This started out as a mission oriented drama with a little sprinkling of home life to soften the ever-so-tough "assasins" of the elite unit. It seemed obvious to me that someone wanted this show to be cancelled, so they began bone the fish by moving the time slots all over the place. They eventually cut the (fish)head off by having dumb episodes such as: 1) Mack having visions of talking with killed team-member Hector Williams (aka Hammerhead) to conjure up memories of the fatal shot to figure out who was the sniper. 2) The untrained wives are ordered to go undercover on a long-term mission to flush out homegrown terrorists. 3) A new YOUNG PUNK member is sent "Super Duper" undercover to fool the seasoned veterans of the unit by faking an attempted rape of a female unit member. -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 10, 2010, 10:15 pm
