One of my bigger problems with the show was when they would start out with one plot, then 10 minutes into the storyline, completely change the plot and if we were lucky, we'd get a stupid resolution to the first plotline, usually in reference through a single line. According to Jim - TV Shows
I think the final season just completely lost the spirit of the earlier seasons. Dana was no longer there and part of the fun of the show was the Dana/Jim rivalry. When new babies in shows are introduced, they pretty much always go downhill from there. Part of the show too was how Jim was basically outnumbered by women in his family and only had Andy as the only man on his side (though sometimes that didn't work out too well) You can even tell how the audience reacts to jokes in the last season as opposed to the first seasons: they seemed more alive back then, but the final season the laughs seem forced and not fully into it either. -- Submitted By: (Joshadragon) on March 10, 2011, 7:56 am
