I have to comment about an earlier comment: The reason Isaac had a stroke was that Robert Guillaume actually had a stroke. Writing that into the show was a stroke of genius (if you'll forgive the word play).... (read more comments)

Every episode from Series 1-6 was excellent (with the obvious exception of the clip shows). It felt like one single show that had evolved naturally from episode 1. It wasn't until Series 7 that it started to deviate from the SG-1 we all knew and loved. Put simply, a good number of the episodes in Series 7 were uninteresting, contained uninteresting dialogue, poor guest characters, less stargat...... (read more comments)

The writer said that, "The end of one of the earlier shows would have Homer give Marge a kiss, whereas now, at the end of the show, he'd hit her over the head with a large cartoon mallet." I agree, to an extent; earlier episodes were cartoony (Sideshow Bob and the rakes...... (read more comments)

For the love of Mike, would someone PLEASE explain how Ben Stiller became known as a "comedy actor"? He's the single most un-funny actor working today; he's the perpetual passenger in 34-A on my "Celebrity Plane Crash Wish List".... (read more comments)

When Chris Goutman took over as executive producer and hired hacks like Hogan Sheffer and Jean Passanante to write, the show rapidly went downhill. THey ignored all the vets, didn't give the audience what they wanted and ultimately, this beloved program became unwatchable. Even in the months after it was cancelled before its final airdate they pimped us with new characters (which the audience...... (read more comments)
